Wound Care Systems

What Is The Negative Pressure Wound Treatment System?

It is a non-invasive method that provides controlled negative pressure on the wound to accelerate healing in acute and chronic wounds. It is a treatment method based on applying a negative pressure to the wound area in a sterile manner, continuously and intermittently.

STIMUX® The foam surface feature in the foam Closure Sets creates a mechanical stimulus in the contact area and triggers this can help blood flow. This encourages recovery in contaminating or infected wounds. In addition, the applied negative pressure triggers wound healing and accelerates the formation of granulation.

What Is The Instillation Wound Treatment System?

STIMUX® The instillation wound treatment system is more suitable for acute infected injuries and serious infections such as orthopedic implants and deep trauma wounds etc. When the infection resolves or decreases, the treatment can be continued with the topical negative pressure wound treatment system.

In the instillation wound treatment system is recommended pH range of 6.0 to 7.4 solutions.

Washing solutions containing absolutely alcohol and its components are not recommended for the washing solution in the instillation wound treatment system.

User Indications

  • To make the wound bed ready for treatment,

  • Reducing the paternity,

  • To support the formation and perfusion of granulation tissue

  • To create an environment that promotes secondary or direct wound healing to remove exudate and infected materials
